
Yarra Valley Racing Inc. will manage in house the new Yarra Valley Market at the Yarra Glen racecourse from September 2009.
Yarra Valley Racing has been managing successful major events at the Yarra Glen racecourse for many years and will apply its successful management model to the Yarra Valley Market. Yarra Valley Racing is a recognised manager of successful events – winning a record three consecutive Victorian Country Racing Club of the Year Awards as well the 2008 Event of the Year Award.
Our aim is to not only encourage people to attend the market but to also promote the Yarra Valley and all it has to offer, by increasing day visits and overnight stays.
We are asking all potential stall holders to express their interest in attending the Yarra Valley Market by completing the On Line registration below.
General Information
Critera
- The suitability of all products offered for sale will be considered by the Manager at the time of application.
- The Manager reserves the right to accept any product that it considers will enhance the market experience for customers.
- Products that are deemed inappropriate (eg: discriminatory or offensive) by management will not be considered.
- The Manager will give preference to any Stallholder who applies for multiple markets.
Stall Fees
- General Stalls are $55 (GST Inc)
- Take away food vendor stalls are $75 (GST Inc)
- All Stall Fees are to be paid within 7 days of notification.
- Sign up for 10 markets annually and receive the twilight market for FREE

All fees include a $10,000.000 Public Liability policy with QBE insurance ($1000 excess applies). There are no discounts for Stallholders who have their own insurance.
Stalls & Sites
- Stalls and market sites are allocated at the management's discretion.
- We do not supply or lease tents/ tables. Applicants must be fully equipped.
- Outside sites vary but are generally 3.4m x 9m which allow for a tent and car.
- Undercover sites limited in availability and will be allocated on a first in basis. Undercover sites vary but are generally 2.4m x 2.4m.
Food
- A Stallholder selling food/beverages must comply with any local, state and federal health legislation relating to safety and suitability of the food sold.
- A Stallholder must provide copies of all relevant food registrations with the Stallholder’s local council and the Shire of Yarra Ranges.
- A copy of your “Certificate of Food Act Registration” must also be supplied to the Manager on an annual basis.
Photos
- Applications will not be processed until we receive photos of your products. Please ensure photo images are submitted as attachments in the On Line Application process. We accept images as TIFF, JPEG or PDF. If you plan on sending photos by mail please send to Yarra Valley Market, P.O. Box 78, Yarra Glen Vic 3775, and make a note of this in the other comments section of the online form.
All Stallholders must consent to the Yarra Valley Market Terms & Conditions by completing and submitting the Online Application.
Application Process
1. Before you Apply
Read our Market Regulations carefully - applications will be only processed on acceptance of these Regulations.
2. Your Application
Submit your application along with photos of your products - on line or by Post.
3. What Happens Next
We will contact you within 14 days to confirm if your Application has been successful or otherwise.
4. Pay the Stall Fee to secure your booking
If your Application is successful, you MUST pay Stall Fees within 7 days of receiving notification.
For your application to be processed quickly and smoothly, it is important to supply us with as much information as possible. Be sure to fill in all relevant fields in the online application form before you submit it.
